The Serengeti National Park is one of the world’s most famous safari destinations, located in northern Tanzania. Known for its vast plains and incredible biodiversity, it is home to the spectacular Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles move in a cyclical pattern across the ecosystem. The park covers over 14,750 square kilometers and shelters lions, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, and rhinos, among hundreds of other species.
Visitors can enjoy game drives, hot air balloon safaris, and cultural visits to Maasai villages nearby. The diverse landscapes of savannah, woodlands, and riverine forests make it a photographer’s paradise.
Best Time to Visit: June to October, during the dry season, is ideal for wildlife viewing.
